Animal Fostering

We believe that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law.

Goa State District Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) was founded to stop injustices to animals and improve their welfare and health. We are a team of dedicated animal lovers that make efforts to advocate alternatives for inhumane actions toward animals such as, dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits and cattle.

Goa state district SPCA has reported and handled cases involving torture, killings, and mistreatment of various animals and has rescued at-risk animals. We have coordinated volunteer efforts; deployed rescue teams to recover abandoned pets; provided temporary shelter to displaced animals; and have reunited lost pets with their owners.

We also assist pet parents in caring for their animals in a proper and ethical way. We organize adoption programs across various parts of Goa and ask potential pet owners to adopt pets living in shelter and foster homes.

If you wish to apply for a Goa State District SPCA membership, please fill the form below and be a part of the group. We believe together we can all make a difference.
